AposHealth, a musculoskeletal medical device company, has selected Harry Leider, MD, as its next chief medical officer and executive vice president.
Dr. Leider most recently served as chief medical officer of Gelesis, a biotechnology company that developed a medical device to treat obesity. He also was the chief medical officer of Walgreens, where he focused on clinical program development and global executive leadership.
In his role at AposHealth, Dr. Leider will oversee the company's payer and engagement services. He will also serve on the company's senior leadership team and focus on provider network development and medical affairs functions, according to a Jan. 17 release.
