Mental health biopharmaceutical company Reunion Neuroscience hastapped Robert Alexander, MD, as its chief medical officer, effective immediately. 

Lawrence, Kan.-based LMH Health has tapped Kirk Sloan, MD, as its new chief medical officer, effective March 6. 

Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford in Murfreesboro, Tenn., has named Brittney Urso as the administrator for its new Westlawn Neighborhood Hospital, which is set to open in March, according to a Jan. 16 report from the Rutherford County Source.

The CDC has appointed Nirav Shah, MD, as principal deputy director. He will become second in leadership under CDC Director Rochelle Walensky, MD, in March.
