- Half of female physicians said they feel "very conflicted" or "conflicted" as parents due to work demands, while 32% of male physicians reported the same.
- Seventy-eight percent of physicians said they spend time with family and friends to maintain their happiness and mental health.
- Younger physicians were more likely to prioritize personal and family time, calling it "very important," than physicians aged 45 and older, at 78% and 67%, respectively.
- Eighty-five percent of male physicians reported being married, compared to 73% of female physicians.
- Female physicians were more likely to report being divorced than their male counterparts, at 7% and 5% respectively.
- Eighty-two percent of physicians described their marriages as "very good" or "good."
- One in 5 physicians said their spouse or partner was also a physician.
