What to know about the third largest physician group

King of Prussia, Pa.-based Select Physical Therapy is the third largest physician group in the U.S. and includes 9,055 physicians and 2,000 outpatient physical therapy centers across 40 states.

1. Select Physical Therapy is part of Select Medical Outpatient Division, which includes other brands such as NovaCare Rehabilitation and KORT.
2. David Chernow serves as CEO of Select Medical, first joining its board in 2002.
3. Select Physical Therapy has over 500 partnerships with professional, college and high school sports organizations.
4. The group includes more than 7,000 licensed therapists.
5. Select Physical Therapy offers a variety of services, including hand therapy, sports medicine, pediatric therapy, occupational therapy and pelvic health services.
