Alaska is the most expensive U.S. state to visit a pediatrician in, according to research from the Birth Injury Lawyers Group based on CMS data.
While the average Medicare cost to visit a pediatrician is $177.90 nationwide, in Alaska, it can be as high as $233.63, according to a May 9 press release sent to Becker's.
Here are the 10 most expensive states to visit a pediatrician, and the average maximum Medicare cost for a new client:
