Touro hospital, part of New Orleans-based LCMC Health, named Christopher Lege, MD, its CEO, Biz New Orleans reported April 30.
Dr. Lege, a primary care physician, previously served as chief medical officer and interim CEO of the hospital, according to Biz New Orleans. He has more than 20 years of healthcare leadership experience and previously held the roles of primary care medical director and chief medical officer for Crescent City Physicians, also in New Orleans.
"Dr. Lege brings a distinguished background in healthcare leadership and will be instrumental in preserving the rich history of Touro in our community while achieving operational excellence," Greg Feirn, CEO of LCMC Health, said in a statement. "Under his strong leadership, we are poised to advance our mission and continue delivering exceptional care to our patients."
