Ali Khan, MD, was appointed as vice president and Medicare chief medical officer for Aetna, CVS Health's payer subsidiary.
Dr. Khan, an internist, will work with Aetna's Medicare Advantage business to improve clinical results for older members, according to an April 2 LinkedIn post.
Dr. Khan previously served as the chief medical officer for value-based care strategy at Chicago-based primary care provider Oak Street Health, which CVS Health acquired last year, according to his LinkedIn page. He also is an adjunct lecturer at Northwestern in Evanston, Ill.
