5 cities with the most, fewest family medicine physicians per capita

Wichita, Kan., is the city with the fewest family medicine physicians per capita, according to personal finance site WalletHub. 

In a report released Sept. 27, WalletHub determined the most livable places for people with disabilities. The site compared the 182 cities across three key dimensions: economy, quality of life and healthcare. Those dimensions were evaluated using 33 metrics, including housing affordability, share of people with disabilities and cost of a physician visit. 

Here are the cities with the most family medicine physicians per capita:

1 (tie). Akron, Ohio

1 (tie). Little Rock, Ark.

1 (tie). Burlington, Vt.

1 (tie). South Burlington, Vt.

1 (tie). Rapid City, S.D.

Here are the cities with the fewest family medicine physicians per capita:

1. Wichita, Kan.

2. Baton Rouge, La.

3. Augusta, Ga.

4. Corpus Christi, Texas

5. Montgomery, Ala.
