Virgin Pulse, a digital health and wellbeing company, has selected Jeffrey Jacques, MD, to serve as its next chief medical officer, the company announced in a Jan. 9 release.
Dr. Jacques steps into the role with more than two decades of experience in digital health innovation. In this position, he will lead Virgin Pulse's science advisory board and work with the product and commercial teams.
Dr. Jacques previously served as CEO and co-founder of CareTribe, which supported family caregivers through a digital health platform. He went on to become the chief strategy officer of family support company Cleo after the company acquired CareTribe in 2022.
Dr. Jacques also spent more than a decade serving in leadership roles for CVS Health/Aetna, including as chief clinical innovation officer for ActiveHealth Management and aso the founder of NeoCare Solutions, a CVS Health/Aetna business which supports families of infants in the NICU.
