New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery has named Daniel Green, MD, and David Mayman, MD, as chief of pediatric orthopedic surgery and chief of adult joint replacement and reconstruction, respectively.
Dr. Green will succeed Roger Widmann, MD, who will lead a new HSS center dedicated to robotic-assisted surgery, according to an Aug. 9 news release from the hospital. Dr. Mayman will take over for Mathias Bostrom, MD, who was recently appointed associate surgeon-in-chief.
Dr. Green and Dr. Mayman will both take on their new roles Sept. 5.
