Autoimmune testing solutions provider Exagen has named Andrew Concoff, MD, as its chief innovation officer.
Dr. Concoff will lead the company's rheumatoid arthritis initiatives, and will work on strategy and business development.
Dr. Concoff has 15 years of clinical experience in rheumatology, and most recently as executive vice president and chief medical officer at United Rheumatology.
"My role will be to foster an environment that maximizes the impact of transformative laboratory capabilities across the rheumatology ecosystem. Our goal is to turn guesses into answers," Dr. Concoff said in an Oct. 4 press release. "The spirit of pioneering scientific innovation is alive and well at Exagen and we plan to harness it to generate testing that brings the future that patients and clinicians have longed for to the clinics where they meet."
