CVS chief medical officer named chair-elect for American Telemedicine Association board of directors

Sree Chaguturu, MD, executive vice president and chief medical officer at CVS Health, has been named chair-elect of the American Telemedicine Association's board of directors, according to a March 6 report from MarketScreener.

Dr. Chaguturu leads CVS Health's enterprise medical affairs organization, spanning Aetna, CVS Caremark, CVS Pharmacy, MinuteClinic and Health Care Delivery. He has been on the American Telemedicine Association board since Dec. 2020. 

Dr. Chaguturu will chair the board for a two-year term beginning in May 2024. He will succeed Kristi Henderson, DNP, CEO at MedExpress. 

Before joining CVS, Dr. Chaguturu served as chief population officer for Mass General Brigham in Boston and was on the leadership team for McKinsey and Company-backed Objective Health.
