- CVS Health subsidiary Signify Health expanded its footprint outside the United States, opening a two-story, 20,000-square-foot complex in Galway, Ireland.
- CVS Health's retail clinic, MinuteClinic, received its sixth consecutive Ambulatory Health Care Accreditation from The Joint Commission.
- Ascension Ventures, part of St. Louis-based Ascension, and CVS Health Ventures participated in a $166 million funding round May 31 for Strive Health, a tech-enabled kidney care provider that focuses on value-based care.
- Oak Street Health, a primary care network acquired by CVS Health in May, plans to expand into Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas and Virginia by the end of the year.
- CVS Pharmacy agreed to pay $6.15 million to resolve allegations that the company in some instances failed to follow prescription pricing procedures set by Massachusetts' workers' compensation insurance program.
- CVS Health is wrapping up its clinical trials unit that launched two years ago to focus on its core business and "long-term strategic priorities."
