Theseus Pharmaceuticals, a biopharmaceutical company focused on developing drugs for cancer patients, has appointed Steven Stein, MD, to its board of directors.
Currently, Dr. Stein serves as the chief medical officer and executive vice president at the biopharmaceutical company Incyte. Prior to this role, Dr. Stein held leadership roles at Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corp., according to an Oct. 19 Theseus news release.
"We are delighted to welcome Dr. Stein to the Theseus Board as we advance development of our THE-630 and THE-349 programs, while also expanding our early-stage pipeline," Tim Clackson, PhD, president and CEO of Theseus, said in the news release. "Dr. Stein's depth and breadth of oncology expertise, and extensive track record of bringing effective medicines through development and to patients, will be invaluable as we continue to build Theseus as a leading precision oncology company."
