Press Ganey awards health systems, hospitals for physician experience

Press Ganey announced the recipients of its human experience awards Jan. 8.

These awards recognize healthcare organizations across the country for their commitment to employee, patient and consumer experience. They include the Guardian of Excellence Award and the Pinnacle of Excellence Award, which are based on performance from 2023.

The Guardian of Excellence Award was designated to organizations that performed in the top 5% of healthcare providers and health plans across a variety of metrics, including physician, patient and consumer experience, employee engagement and clinical quality performance over the last year. 

Meanwhile, the Pinnacle of Excellence Award recognizes healthcare organizations for excellence for at least three consecutive years in patient and consumer experience or two consecutive years in employee engagement, physician engagement and clinical quality performance.

Here are the 21 hospitals and health systems receiving the Guardian of Excellence Award for physician experience:
