Cleveland Clinic has appointed Sheila Miller, DNP, as the chief nursing officer of its London location.
Dr. Miller will enter the role in Feb. 2023, succeeding Deborah Small, DNP, who established the Cleveland Clinic London nursing workforce in 2018.
Dr. Miller has 35 years of nursing experience, most recently serving as chief nursing officer at Cleveland Clinic Akron General, where she led nursing strategy at the main hospital, a critical access hospital, three emergency departments and multiple ASCs.
"For more than 100 years, Cleveland Clinic has been at the forefront of medical innovation and specialized healthcare, and we are proud to continue this strong tradition at Cleveland Clinic London," Tommaso Falcone, MD, interim CEO of Cleveland Clinic London, said in a Jan. 5 press release. "I am pleased to welcome Sheila to the Cleveland Clinic London team. She is a respected and proven leader within Cleveland Clinic, as well as a strong proponent of advancing nursing care across our enterprise."
