Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont signed into law an act that amends the state's noncompete law for physicians and adds further restrictions, effective as of July 1, according to a July 3 report from JD Supra.
Public Act No. 23-97 also expands Connecticut's noncompete law to include restrictions on noncompete agreements entered into with physicians assistants and advanced practice registered nurses, with those changes officially taking effect Oct. 1.
