Here are eight newly appointed chief medical officers reported by Becker's since Feb. 1:
- Timothy Tesmer, MD, was named the next chief medical officer of the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services' Division of Public Health.
- Healthcare services organization Avita Care Solutions appointed Christopher Hall, MD, as its first chief medical officer.
- Andrew McNamara, MD, was selected to serve as the first chief medical officer of Trilogy Health Services, which operates nearly 130 senior living communities in Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan and Ohio.
- Dr. Roger Sidhu was named chief medical officer of Treadwell Therapeutics, a biotechnology company based in New York City and focused on the treatment of patients with cancer.
- Jessica McHugh, MD, was named chief medical officer of MultiCare Rockwood Clinic in Spokane, Wash.
- Teaneck, N.J.-based Holy Name Medical Center named Vasantha Kondamudi, MD, as its new chief medical officer following a yearlong search.
- Liberty (Mo.) Hospital named Chakshu Gupta, MD, its new chief medical officer.
- Jerilyn Morrissey, MD, was appointed chief medical officer of CorroHealth, a medical consulting and analytics company.
