A physician with Hartford (Conn.) HealthCare who was charged in connection with a child sexual exploitation investigation by the FBI and the Meriden (Conn.) Police Department has died, the Hartford Courant reported March 13.

The state Office of the Chief Medical Examiner confirmed Dr. Magaldi's death and plans to conduct an autopsy, according to the publication. Dr. Magaldi's body was found after state police were notified of an unresponsive individual in Litchfield, Conn., the morning of March 13. Dr. Magaldi was pronounced dead at the scene.
